During the current Shutdown at the Incitec Pivot Phosphate Hill Shut, BLJ In-Situ Solutions has been shaving heads and styling Mohawk haircuts in order to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors Service which has been running its Queensland operations out of Mt Isa since 1964.
The Royal Flying Doctors Service is an emergency service that helps more than 290,000 Australians each year who are living or working remotely. It relies on the support and generosity of the Australian public to keep the Royal Flying Doctors Service in the air.
As you can see from the photographs, we were inundated by offers of donations and head shaving requests. Proudly, we raised $1700 from haircuts and have donated a further $1500 to the Royal Flying Doctors Service. BLJ In-Situ Solutions would like to thank all of the people and subcontractors who generously donated to this worthy cause.
